NANO PRO Peristaltic Pump Tubing and Connectors

NANOSSR offers Peristaltic Pump Tubing that can match your needs! Please let us know the type of material, ID, WT, and OD (if applicable). Check with NANOSSR to see if we have the material/specifications based on the chart below! 

  • Peristaltic Pump Tubing (If you need a material that is not available, please inquire with our sales team to see if it is available!)
  • Tubing Connectors - Used for extending and/or connecting to tubing of the same ID
  • Reducing Unions - Used for connecting tubing that has different IDs. 

The extra tubing is sold per meter. Please specify if you would like the tubing cut or not. If > 1m is ordered and is requested to be uncut, 2 connectors will come with the tubing (Example: 6m uncut tubing will come with 2 connectors). 

Included with each 1m of tubing is two tube connectors that fit the ID of the tubing.

Typically, the tubing compatibility is determined by the type of pump head that is attached to the peristaltic pump.

Tubing Temperature Parameters

Peristaltic pump tubing can handle a range of temperatures depending on the material it is made from. Different tubing materials have different thermal properties. Here are some common types of tubing materials used in peristaltic pumps and their typical temperature ranges:

  1. Silicone Rubber:

    • Temperature Range: -50°C to 200°C (-58°F to 392°F)
    • Features: Good flexibility, biocompatibility, and suitable for a wide range of applications, including medical and pharmaceutical.
  2. Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE):

    • Temperature Range: -50°C to 135°C (-58°F to 275°F)
    • Features: Resistant to chemicals and can be sterilized by autoclaving.
  3. Santoprene:

    • Temperature Range: -60°C to 135°C (-76°F to 275°F)
    • Features: Excellent chemical resistance and durability.
  4. Viton® (Fluoroelastomer):

    • Temperature Range: -20°C to 200°C (-4°F to 392°F)
    • Features: High resistance to chemicals, oils, and heat.
  5. Norprene®:

    • Temperature Range: -51°C to 135°C (-60°F to 275°F)
    • Features: Long life and excellent resistance to chemicals.
  6. PharMed® BPT:

    • Temperature Range: -60°C to 135°C (-76°F to 275°F)
    • Features: Long pump life and excellent biocompatibility, suitable for pharmaceutical applications.
  7. C-Flex®:

    • Temperature Range: -40°C to 200°C (-40°F to 392°F)
    • Features: Excellent biocompatibility, used in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
  8. PTFE (Teflon):

    • Temperature Range: -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F)
    • Features: Exceptional chemical resistance and high-temperature tolerance, though less flexible than other materials.

When choosing tubing for a peristaltic pump, it's essential to consider not only the temperature range but also the chemical compatibility, flexibility, and durability required for the specific application. Always refer to the manufacturer's specifications to ensure the tubing material is suitable for your operating conditions.
